Rangers staged a superb comeback in the Europa League against Braga last week and now they have a significant one-goal advantage to take to Portugal.

The Gers won the match 3-2 thanks to a goal from Joe Aribo and a brace from Hagi but by the looks of it, they have a real chance of moving into the next round by beating Braga in the second leg.

As things stand, the Portuguese side will be without Wallace and Wilson Eduardo as both of them have been ruled out of the game in midweek.

Defender Wallace picked up a thigh injury during the first leg at Ibrox and he has now been ruled out of the reverse fixture.

But for Eduardo, things are a bit complex since the Braga boss has made it clear that the winger will not be considered for Wednesday’s game since he will not be signing a new deal at the end of the season.

Amorim said, as quoted: “Wallace won’t be available for a few weeks after his injury in Glasgow.

“As for Wilson Eduardo, he is an excellent professional, but I have to be honest with him. He is at the end of his contract and my job is to think long term and use players who want to be here.

“I have been very clear with him and told him this.

“He is prepared to play and I am not going to say he will never play for this club again because there could be occasions we have to use him.

“But he won’t be involved in the game against Rangers.”

This will be a great chance for Rangers to pick up a win and progress to the next stage but Braga have managed to score two away goals which could be a major deciding factor in determining the outcome of this tie.
