Rangers FC outclassed the mighty Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League as they beat the Bundesliga giants 4-2. Yes, 4-2 and that too way from home.

The Gers take a healthy lead into their home leg and as things stand, the Scottish side are the favourites to progress to the next round. Even though the away goals rule don’t count this season but Rangers should be able to hold onto a two-goal lead.

As per Opta, Rangers are the first Scottish team to score four away goals against a German side in Europe since Hibernian won 4-0 at Rot-Weiss Essen.

The Teddy Bears were easily the better side on Thursday night and the fact that Dortmund looked really shaky in defence added to the advantage of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side. The scoreline was 4-2 in the end but Rangers had the chance to score one or two more goals.

As the Scottish side thrashed BVB on the German side’s home turf, we take a look at the Rangers players ratings.
