Tottenham Hotspur take on Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend and right now, Jose Mourinho is one worried manager.

The Lilywhites have seen a revival of sorts under Mourinho but during the past few matches, the manager has lost a series of players to injuries with the biggest one being the hamstring injury to Harry Kane.

So far, Liverpool have not lost a single match in the league but some experts feel that Jose Mourinho could finally pull this feat off. While this is achievable for Spurs on Saturday but given the injuries that the manager has to deal with it will surely be an uphill task.

Tottenham Hotspur team news vs Liverpool:

Mourinho played with a three-man defence against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup but the Tottenham boss is expected to revert back to a conventional 4-2-3-1 formation vs Liverpool. This means Alderweireld and Sanchez will play in central defence.

Serge Aurier will start at right-back but the manager right now has some thinking to do with the left-back role due to the injury to Danny Rose.

While Sessegnon is an option but given that Tottenham are playing Liverpool, Jose could opt to use Jan Vertonghen in the full-back role.

Moussa Sissoko has been ruled out until April following knee surgery and this is a major cause of concern since Ndombele is also ruled out with an injury.

This means Harry Winks will partner Eric Dier in central midfield while Dele Alli plays in the No 10 role on Saturday. While some claim, Christian Eriksen could get a start but we don’t think Jose would want to use him amidst reports of him moving out of the club this month.

Harry Kane has suffered a tear in his left hamstring meaning the forward is now ruled out for a lengthy period of time which means Son is likely to lead the line vs Liverpool.

With Son playing upfront Erik Lamela will come into the squad on the right flank while Lucas Moura operates from the left-hand side.
