West Ham United assigned Manuel Pellegrini as their new manager early on during the summer and the club have reportedly given the former City boss a 75 million pound city for the transfer market.
Pellegrini has already made a series of top-class signing during the summer transfer window as the Hammers are planning to climb back to the top half of the league table after a disastrous previous season.
West Ham have already signed Jack Wilshere from Arsenal a couple of days ago and on Sunday announced that they had completed the transfer of midfielder Felipe Anderson from Lazio.
But if reports are to be believed then, the London outfit have held talks with another midfielder.
West Ham have had meetings with former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure over a potential move to the London stadium.
Toure left City at the end of the previous season after his contract had expired but his exit from the Etihad was not particularly a good one.
After moving out of Manchester the Ivorian International accused Pep Guardiola of favouring white players and then the midfielder’s agent went on to claim that Toure would play for a Premier League club for even 1 pound per week just to prove Guardiola wrong.
The news of West Ham holding talks with Yaya Toure over a potential move has been reported by the Sun so we cannot say how much credibility there is to the information.
But the publication also goes on to add that West Ham United are not to keen to provide Yaya Toure with a deal.
