Man United’s Mason Greenwood is yet another homegrown talent who is all set to make it big and many people think that he is one of the best graduates, that the club’s academy has proved in recent decades.

This season, despite playing as a sub in most of the games, the 18-year-old has managed to score 15 goals in just 41 matches across all competitions, two of which came last weekend against AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League.

But as his stature is growing there have also been doubts that a big European club might come calling for him pretty soon and that the player along with his family could be tempted to head out.

But if Andy Mitten’s words are to be believed then young Mason Greenwood is fully committed to Manchester United and right now he has no plans of clearing his lockerroom at Old Trafford.

‘I think he can be a world-class player,’ Mitten told the Talk of the Devils podcast, as per the Metro.

‘I know that there has been offers for him. Go back a year and Juventus were prepared to offer his family life-changing amounts of money.

‘Manchester United deserve credit for the way they got him to sign a new contract.’

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already showered praises on the youngster claiming that the sky is the limit for Mason Greenwood.

The Norwegian said a few days ago: “Great talent, great finisher and he’s learning more and more. Growing more and more and getting better with his decisions on and off the pitch.

“He’s an exceptional finisher. He can score right foot or left foot and as I said before if he can just learn how to head a ball he will be a complete striker.”

Since the resumption, Mason Greenwood has moved up the pecking order and is now a regular feature down that right flank. But it will be interesting to see where Solskjaer opts to use him next season if Man United can bring in Jadon Sancho from BVB.
