Here’s why Unai Emery will be sacked soon enough at Arsenal: Makes sense?

Unai Emery is under tremendous pressure at Arsenal and Lee Dixon feels its time for him to be sacked as the club have managed to pick up just 17 points from their first 12 matches in the Premier League.

Arsenal have failed to pick up a win in their last four league matches and after that embarrassing loss to Leicester two weeks ago most of the fans want Unai Emery to be shown the door.

While the club’s hierarchy has made it clear that they are standing by their manager right now but Dixon feel the board will soon choose the other alternative.

“There’s only one thing that can happen, well there’s two things. It can get worse or it stays the same,” Dixon said on The Season So Far[as quoted by The Express].

“And if it stays the same, either way, he’s not going to be in the job for long.

“It’s like making the same mistake time and time again. At some point, you’ve got to go ‘maybe we should do something different’.

“Now what that difference is the board’s decision. At the moment the players don’t understand what the manager’s trying to do and the manager hasn’t got the players to do what he wants to do, so something has to change.

“Now whether that’s ‘right, we’ll give you a load of money at Christmas, get some more players’ or we change the manager. I kind of think it’s going to be the latter.

“I don’t want to see anybody lose their job but this is my football club we’re talking about and what I’m seeing now, you cannot game-manage like that. It’s irresponsible.”

Verdict:

Lee Dixon is obviously concerned with Arsenal but we don’t think the management will look to sack Unai Emery especially after they missed out on Luis Enrique.

While some people do want Jose Mourinho to come in and replace the Spaniard but we are pretty sure that isn’t what the top bosses want which is why they are ready to give their current boss until the end of the season to sort things out instead of making a hasty decision.
