Harry Kane playing for England Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has continued his immaculate goal-scoring form in Germany but he could be on his way back to the Premier League, as per a report by Football Insider.

Kane has already netted 29 goals in 30 appearances since joining Bayern Munich and he just became the fastest to reach 25 goals in the Bundesliga. However, the rumours are suggesting that the ex-Spurs man is not happy with life at the club primarily because the Bavarians are in dismal form right now.

The England international is contemplating a return to the Premier League and London side Chelsea could try and bring him on board at the end of this season.

Will Chelsea actually go after Harry Kane?

Chelsea’s priority is to sign a new world-class centre-forward before the 2024/25 season begins and right now, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen is at the top of their wishlist.

Apart from Osimhen, the Blues are also keeping tabs on Brentford’s Ivan Toney and it’s not entirely a surprise that they are being linked with Harry Kane. The ex-Spurs man is currently valued at €110 million and the Blues won’t mind spending the same to bring him on board.

However, it’s highly unlikely that Bayern Munich will agree to sell him after just one full season.

Bayern are most likely to miss out on the Bundesliga title but this season is an anomaly. Kane might be unhappy momentarily because he went to Germany to win titles but sooner or later the forward is going to fulfil his dreams. Chelsea have also been in dismal form this season but unlike Tuchel’s side they are currently in a rebuild phase and it will take some time before they become genuine title contenders again.

Bayern might be trailing Leverkusen in the league but they are still alive in the UCL so there’s still a good chance they will lift a major silverware by the end of May.

Harry Kane has perfectly settled down in Germany and it’s not every day that Bayern Munich spend so heavily on a player. The Bavarians paid €95 million to sign the 30-year-old from Tottenham last year and there’s no way they will sell him next summer.

Pochettino and Harry Kane have known each other since their Spurs days but Chelsea would much rather spend their €100-odd million on a 25-year-old Victor Osimhen rather than a 30-year-old Kane. Yes, the Napoli man will take time to settle down in England but he has age on his side, unlike Harry Kane who only has one or two top-tier seasons left in him.

Osimhen has scored 67 goals since joining Napoli in 2020 and he will be a much easier buy because the Serie A side has already admitted that he is going to leave during the summer. Kane’s situation is only rumours and we firmly believe that the club are in no mood to entertain Chelsea.
