Atletico Madrid are speeding up the process in order to land Diego Costa.

It is being reported that Atleti have sent a group of officials to London so that they can negotiate a deal with the Chelsea management for Diego Costa. Costa has been long wanting to go back to his old club but that has proven to be a bit difficult owing to the transfer embargo on Diego Simeone’s side.

There were also talks about Costa may be joining the likes of Everton and Fenerbahce on a short term deal but that too did not materialize. This meant that the Spaniard is currently stuck in London and is still a Chelsea player but he is unlikely to feature in any of the games for Antonio Conte’s side.

But as the latest reports, Costa is quite confident that this time both Atletico and Chelsea can agree upon a fee for the transfer and that is why he has already shifted his family to Spain.

Atletico Madrid are ready to offer somewhere around £32 million for the services of the 23-year-old – the same amount for which they had sold his to the Blues back in 2014.
