Liverpool could complete the signing of Naby Keita from RB Leipzig by Sunday – as per reports.

Keita was expected to join Liverpool in the month of July but the sudden departure of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona has left a huge void in the Liverpool locker room. Thus the Reds management have been trying to push forward the Keita deal and it seems that they have succeeded.

According to a report in the Express, a new company under the name ‘NK8 LIMITED’ has been registered on the Companies House website which has two names registered as officers – Naby Deco Keita and Bjorn Alexander Bezemer.

The report also states that Keita was appointed as a director on January 11.

Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhuttl has continued to say that Keita will stay with the club until the end of the season but Express feel that Liverpool have convinced the Leipzig management to sell the player off in January and the deal might be completed on Sunday.

Meaning Leipzig’s encounter with Schalke on Saturday could be the last match that Naby Keita plays for the Bundesliga outfit.
