Chelsea seem to have lost their eighth-player to a hamstring injury if reports from England are to be believed.

Antonio Conte’s men suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bournemouth at home last week and the Italian will be hoping that his team can get back to winning ways when they visit Vicarage Road to take on Watford on Monday night.

Chelsea already have the likes of Willian, Morata, N’Golo Kante, Moses, Fabregas, Christensen and Cahill all sidelined with hamstring injuries and according to the Telegraph, it seems that an eighth player has been added to that list.

As per the report, January signing Ross Barkley is the latest player to have picked up a hamstring injury. It is being believed that the former Everton man sustained the injury in training this week.

The extent of the injury has not been established yet but as per initial reports, it does not seem that the injury in on the same hamstring which prevented him from making an appearance until January of this year.

The Chelsea medical staff will assess the injury on Monday afternoon and will give the final report if Barkley will be available to start against Watford or not.
