Liverpool might have the opportunity to sign James Rodriguez from Bayern Munich – as per reports.

According to the Don Balon, Bayern Munich are planning to make a profit out of James Rodriguez by selling him at a huge price tag.

The Colombian moved to Bayern in July of 2017 on a two-year loan deal and the German league leaders have the chance of making the deal permanent at the end of the loan period.

The German outfit paid €13 million as loan fees to Real Madrid and they will have the opportunity to sign Rodriguez permanently for just £37 million.

If the report from Don Balon is to be believed then the Bavarians are planning to re-sell the winger after signing him permanently.

Bayern Munich are expected to quote £53 million for the Colombian and this has seemingly caught the interest of Liverpool.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp had previously had a chat with the 26-year-old about making a switch to Anfield and it seems that the £53 million price tag has reignited his interest in the player.

It is very much evident that Zinedine Zidane has no use of Rodriguez anymore and Bayern Munich will have a free pass to signing the winger if they wish to.

This season James has shown flashes of brilliance in Bayern colours – scoring 4 goals and providing 7 assists in 25 appearances.
