Arsene Wenger is desperately trying to rebuild his squad in order to get back that top four crown for the upcoming season and if reports are to be believed then the Gunners are planning a move for West Brom defender Jonny Evans – yet again.

Evans has been on the radar of the French manager for a couple of months now and Arsenal even came close to signing him during the January transfer window. Somehow that move did not materialize and now the Gunners will once again try and bring him onboard during the summer.

But Wenger will surely not have it easy with a few reports claiming that Tottenham Hotspur and even Manchester United are interested in Jonny Evans.

Evans started his career with the Red Devils and went onto make 200 odd appearances for them before he was sold off to West Brom in 2015.

After United’s shock exit from the Champions League, Jose Mourinho is planning a major overhaul in the dressing room and he intends to sell off a lot of players during the summer.

Another team who are interested in signing Jonny Evans are Tottenham Hotspur.

According to a report, Spurs have pulled the plug on a new deal for Toby Alderweireld meaning the Belgium International could very well move out of the club after the end of the current season.

In such a scenario, Mauricio Pochettino is looking for a replacement to Alderweireld and with Jonny Evans’s release clause at West Brom being just £3 million, the former United man will be a perfect fit for the Lilywhites.

Even though Manchester United and Spurs have spiked their interest in the centre-back but rumours have it that Arsenal are still the bookmakers’ favourites to land Jonny Evans during the summer transfer window.
