Manchester United came from 2-0 behind on Saturday to win the Manchester Derby 3-2. And midfielder Paul Pogba was the chief instigator for Manchester City’s demise.

After the match, the French international told Sky Sports that he wanted to win the match because of the United fans who would have been shattered if City won the league against them.

Pogba told Sky Sports: “I didn’t want to lose against City, the loss from last season is still in my mind,

“If they won they are champions, for all the fans it would be like death.

“To lose against City and to see them celebrate, I couldn’t let that happen.

“At halftime in the dressing room we said we have nothing to lose, 2-0 let’s make it.

“After a second half like this, we have to do that all the time. If we did we would be up there with City, and maybe even in front.”

But after the match, Manchester City manager Paul Pogba walked straight to Paul Pogba and whispered something into the midfielder’s ears.

And ever since this moment, fans from both sides have been trying to decode as to what exactly the Spanish manager told Paul Pogba.

Pep Guardiola has finally revealed what he told Pogba.

“I went to congratulate him on the result,” he said

The City boss refused to give any more insights on it but added that there was no discussion about the comments that he had made before the match.

Before the Manchester Derby, Guardiola had claimed that he was offered Paul Pogba during the January transfer window by his agent Mino Raiola but the agent had straight away rubbished such rumours.
