Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City has already wrapped up the Premier League this season and the Spanish manager has indicated he has no intentions of stopping any time soon.

Guardiola has claimed he wants to turn the Manchester City team into a well-oiled goal scoring machine and in order to do that he is planning to bring in a couple of new signings during the summer.

And one player amongst the new arrivals could very well be Andres Iniesta.

Yes, you heard it right, Iniesta from Barcelona.

Multiple reports have claimed that the Spanish International is on the verge of moving out of Barcelona at the end of the season and join Chongqing Lifan in the Chinese Super League.

Now according to a report in the Spanish publication AS Man City boss is trying very hard to change Andres Iniesta’s mind and bring him to the Etihad in the summer.

Iniesta’s performance in the Copa Del Rey final against Sevilla proved that the 33-year-old still has a lot of football left in him and Guardiola wants to utilise his genius in midfield.

The City boss knows very well what Iniesta can do having worked with him closely during the pair’s time at Barcelona a couple of years back but by the looks of it, the Premier League champions are not the only one interested in the midfielder.

As per the report, Ligue 1 side PSG are also interested in signing Andres Iniesta at the end of the season and might enter a bidding war with Man City.
