Liverpool take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev on Saturday night and it seems that Jurgen Klopp and his men have an unlikely supporter.
Arsenal fans woke up on Saturday to a tweet from their midfielder Jack Wilshere in which he had wished Liverpool and its players best of luck for the Champions League finale.
And as soon as the tweet was posted it went viral amongst the Arsenal fans and they immediately drew to the conclusion that Wilshere was on his way out of the Emirates in the summer and he secretly wants to join Liverpool.
Here’s Jack Wilshere’s tweet:
What a day of football, have to back the english team! Good luck @JamesMilner @JHenderson 👊🏻⚽️

Clearly, the Gooners did not take it well and most of them pointed out that Wilshere wants to join Liverpool.

Probably gonna be his next club

Now Wilshere was clearly trying to show his support to a fellow Premier League side and also his England teammates but given the heated rivalry that Liverpool and Arsenal share, the Gooners were not too pleased with their midfielder.
Wilshere’s current contract with Arsenal expires in the summer and he is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal with the club. And now with the arrival of Unai Emery, Jack’s future at the club will have one more assessment before the Emirates outfit makes a move.
