Chelsea got back to winning ways after their shock 1-0 defeat to West Ham by beating Huddersfield Town 3-1. But the Blues will have no time to sit back and enjoy their victory as they host Southampton on Saturday.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has made it clear that he will make a series of change to his first-team line-up as the games come thick and fast so we can expect to see a few key players being rested against the Saints.
TEAM NEWS:
One major absentee during the midweek clash was Alvaro Morata who missed out due to a back injury but he is likely to return back to the starting XI on Saturday. David Luiz remains sidelined with his injury and Conte is yet to give a concrete return date for the Brazilian.
Victor Moses has just returned back to full fitness and Conte will not try and strain him with too many games. So Davide Zappacosta is likely to take up Moses’ right wing-back role. Both Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas is expected to return back to the starting XI after having been on the bench for the Huddersfield game.
CHELSEA PREDICTED LINE-UP:
