Arsenal picked up their fourth win on the trot as they beat Wolves 2-0 at the Molineux Stadium in the English Premier League during the weekend.

But their biggest test for the remainder of the season will start on Tuesday when they take on Leicester City and then Spurs and Liverpool in back-to-back games, all within a span of just eight days.

And speaking ahead of Arsenal’s match against the Foxes, Mikel Arteta has clearly outlined the importance of the next few matches in a bid to get back into the top tier of Europe next season.

Arteta said, as per the Standard: “We know how important these games are going to be for the future of the season, so we are very focused and committed to trying to do as well as we can.

“We are on a good run, we’ve got some momentum and we’re getting to the crucial point of the season where we’re going to face the top teams in the next two weeks and we’re just trying to get prepared as well as we can.

“I think we have to win every game and then wait and pray. It’s not about winning one game. We need to go game by game.

“A few weeks ago, we were really far from even thinking about Europe and now we are a little bit closer at the moment. So let’s go game by game and see where it takes us.”

Arsenal have managed to gather a fair bit of momentum during the past two weeks but they still have some serious defensive issues which need to be sorted out and Leicester, Spurs and Liverpool can all cause some severe damage with the kind of attacking players they have at their disposal.

But we think, Mikel Arteta seems to have found a temporary solution to his defensive woes by using a 3-4-3 formation and we are pretty confident the manager will use similar tactics vs the Foxes on Tuesday.
