Antonio Conte’s Chelsea travel to West Yorkshire in order to take on Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night. The Terriers are in fine form after beating Brighton and Hove Albion during the weekend and the Chelsea manager has warned his players not to take the game too lightly.

David Wagner’s side has been one team which have caused serious headache to both the Manchester-based clubs this season. While United slipped up during their visit to the John Smith’s Stadium, City required a late goal in order to secure a 2-1 victory over the Terriers. So Conte knows very well that this game will not be a cakewalk – more so after his team’s shock defeat at the hands of West Ham during the weekend.

While speaking to the press before the game, Conte said, “First of all, we are facing a team in a good moment of form,”

“The last game they played a great game against Brighton, they won 2-0. I don’t know if it’s the way they prepared for us, but at the same time we must try and play our football.

“We must pay great attention of the counter-attack because they have fast players. I repeat: they are in a good moment of form.

“We must be very good and be more clinical in this game because I think in the last couple of games, in the last period, we weren’t more clinical.”

Chelsea will be without the services of summer signing Alvaro Morata as he is ruled out with a back injury while Danny Drinkwater is back in contention for the fixture. Chelsea’s starting XI vs Huddersfield will look a bit different from the team that took the field at the London Stadium on Saturday with TIemoue Bakayoko expected to be dropped from the starting line-up.
