Real Madrid have given the green signal to Isco and the Spaniard now is free to move out during the summer transfer window – as per reports.
After playing a crucial role last season, Isco has been constantly in and out of the first team this campaign. The attacking midfielder has started just 18 La Liga games this term and Diario Gol are reporting that he will move out at the end of the summer.
Last September, Isco signed a contract extension which will keep him with the club until 2022. And under the terms of the extension, his release clause stands at a whopping £614million.
Diario Gol are claiming that Isco has informed his close friend and teammate Marco Asensio that Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez is ready to sell him off.
This bit of news will certainly excite the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City who have shown interest in Isco.
City boss Pep Guardiola has been a long-term admirer of the attacking midfielder and he has already been pushing his team to make a move for him during the summer.
The Manchester outfit are reportedly willing to pay somewhere in the region of £70 million for Isco’s signature but we feel that the Bernabeu outfit will be demanding even more.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are set to lose Eden Hazard to Real Madrid and Roman Abramovich might just use the outgoing Belgian International as a counterweight in order to bring Isco to Stamford Bridge.
