Chelsea and Newcastle United have already been linked with Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale and now as per reports, Wolves are also looking at the keeper.

Jose Sa is the current No 1 for Wolves but the 31-year-old is attracting a lot of interest from the Saudi Pro League and the club might have to cash in on him at the end of this season. Gary O’Neil knows he could end up losing Sa which is why his club has started the hunt for a new keeper.

Like Wolves, Chelsea and Newcastle United are also on the lookout for a new goalkeeper and it’s safe to say that all three clubs have a very good chance of landing the England international.

At the start of this season, Aaron Ramsdale was ready to fight David Raya for the No 1 spot but now, he’s understood that he will need to leave North London if he wants to revive his career. In this, campaign, the 25-year-old has played in only 11 games for Arsenal across all competitions.

Mikel Arteta is also ready to offload Aaron Ramsdale at the end of this season and the keeper will want to join a team where he can play regularly.

In his first two seasons with the Gunners, Ramsdale had played 78 games but David Raya’s arrival has pushed him to the bench. Usually, the backup keepers play the fringe matches and in the cup competitions but in this calendar year, Aaron Ramsdale has started only two matches.

Stamford Bridge could be the ideal destination for the Arsenal keeper but they already have keepers like Roberto Sanchez, Kepa and Petrovic. Pochettino will first have to get rid of them before he can convince the Arsenal keeper to move across London.

Wolves, on the other hand, can find themselves at the front of the queue if Jose Sa moves to the Middle East.

Arsenal had paid around £30 million for Aaron back in 2021 and as per the rumours, they will quote around £50 million from anyone who wishes to sign him in the summer. £50 million is too high for someone who’s hardly played this season and we think Arsenal will let him leave if a club offers around £40-45 million for Aaron Ramsdale.

Ramsdale’s race has been run at the Emirates Stadium and with three of the biggest EPL clubs interested in him, this is the perfect time for him to leave North London and take on a fresh challenge.
