Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is expected to offload a number of players during the course of the next year and interested clubs are already the Blues.

According to reports in Europe, AC Milan are said to be interested in signing Chelsea duo Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill.

Both the players have been sidelined ever since Maurizio Sarri took charge of the club and Milan want to bring them to Italy – either in January or at the end of the season.

Cesc Fabregas played 32 games for the Blues last season but the Spaniard is yet to start a game this year under Chelsea’s new boss.

Fabregas’s place has been taken up by the likes of Jorginho and Kovacic and the former Arsenal man has been given a clear indication to find a new club.

Some reports claim that Sarri will offload the midfielder in January itself as AC Milan have already contacted the Blues over the availability of the player.

AC Milan are also looking at Gary Cahill who has suffered a similar fate under Sarri.

After being on the verge of leaving the club, David Luiz has been reinstated in the first eleven by the new boss meaning the ageing Gary Cahill has managed to make only a single Premier League appearance this campaign.

Maurizio Sarri should not have any hesitation in offloading the duo but it remains to be seen if he sanctions the sales at the start of the new year.

AC Milan are currently fifth on the Serie A table and the club will be hoping to bring in a few reinforcements in order to push for that Champions League spot next season.
