Midfielder Adrien Rabiot looks all set to play in the English Premier League next season – as per an exclusive report in Le10Sport.
The midfielder joined Juventus last summer on a free transfer from PSG but he’s clearly not fit into Maurizio Sarri’s plans this season having played in 17 Serie A games so far out of which he’s started in only 42% of those.
And now as per Le10Sport, Arsenal and Everton are two English clubs who have already made approaches to sign the 25-year-old during the upcoming transfer window.
The report suggests: “On the shelves of English clubs when he played at PSG, Adrien Rabiot is again chased by the Premier League teams.
“According to our information, two of them have even launched hostilities in an attempt to recover it. They are Arsenal and Everton. Already positioned for several seasons on the player, the Gunners always seem very motivated at the idea of the recover.
“On the Everton side, there is a gentleman who knows Adrien Rabiot perfectly: Carlo Ancelotti.”
Which Premier League club will sign Adrien Rabiot?
Right now, it’s Everton who are likely to land Rabiot from Juventus in the summer thanks to their manager Carlo Ancelotti but Arsenal still have a really substantial chance in performing a coup.
If the Gunners can manage to secure Champions League qualification for the upcoming season then there’s every possibility the midfielder might snub a move to Goodison Park and join Arsenal instead.
This is a really far-fetched idea since it will take a lot of effort for Arsenal to be able to get back into the top-four by the end of the season but the other option is even more troublesome.
The North London club could try and outbid Everton in this transfer race but given the financial situation of the club right now, we don’t think the management will be able to take such a bold call.
So right now, the Gunners have practically nothing which can convince Adrien Rabiot to make a move to the Emirates in the summer.
