Arsenal hit the road this weekend to take on Watford FC in the Premier League and Alexandre Lacazette is set to miss this match.

The Frenchman has been in good form for the Gunners since the start of the season but he had been playing with ankle pain for some time now.

And now it looks like the injury has finally caught up with him and the club have confirmed that the forward has been asked to rest and will be out until October.

This will surely be a huge blow for Unai Emery since Alexandre Lacazette had been started to form a very good partnership with Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe.

But now that the Frenchman is out of action, the Gunners boss will surely need to change his game plan vs Watford and also for the upcoming matches.

Apart from Alexandre Lacazette, there are no new injury concerns for Arsenal and there are even rumours that Rob Holding might be fit enough to make it to the bench for the Watford vs Arsenal clash.
