Rangers FC forward Alfredo Morelos has been tipped to move out of the club during the ongoing transfer window and it looks like a transfer could be agreed upon really soon.

As reported by Sport Witness, Morelos’ agent Micheal Gorman is meeting with FC Porto at the club’s headquarters on Thursday to discuss a potential summer move.

Porto are currently the favourites to sign the striker and according to former Rangers manager Alex McLeish, the Gers are not likely to stand in his way if a right offer comes by.

He told Ibrox News: “This is an interesting time for Rangers now.

“They have interest in one or two players, Kamara also. Morelos has been out there for a long time, will he go? I feel that if the right offer comes in for Rangers, it will be difficult to stop him from leaving.

“It will be down to the player, I could see some changes.”

Alfredo Morelos has only two years left on his current deal with Rangers FC so this it the perfect time to cash in on him.

But as per the report, Porto are not ready to pay more than €12 million for the South American which is something that will not be acceptable for the Scottish side.

As per TransferMarkt, the 25-year-old is valued at €12 million so there’s no way Rangers will accept this proposal from Porto.

The fact that Morelos’ agent is meeting with the Portuguese club’s representatives is a sign that the striker wants to move out. And we believe as soon as the club can agree on a transfer fee with Rangers, Alfredo Morelos will be on his way out.

The Colombian joined Rangers in 2017 and in these past four years, he has scored 94 and assisted 43 goals in 182 games for the club across all competitions.
