Manchester United drew their previous Premier League encounter vs Liverpool 0-0 on Sunday.

And next up the Red Devils travel to Selhurst Park where Anthony Martial could very well return.

Against Liverpool, Solskjaer’s men were up against a side which had lost only a single game in the league up until now and on top of that, the Man United boss was forced to make all his substitutions in the first half itself.

Ander Herrera and Juan Mata both came off with a hamstring injury and then it was Jesse Lingard who was taken off after having come on in place of Mata.

Lingard was perhaps the only player who was likely to pick up an injury since he had not yet fully recovered from his muscle injury.

But the other two cases were just bad luck for Man United.

While the club are still examining the length of the injuries but all these three players will most certainly miss the game vs Crystal Palace in midweek.

This just adds trauma to Solksjaer since he is already without Nemanja Matic after the midfielder was injured in training a couple of days ago.

With so many injuries a few of the fringe players could get some game time but we are also likely to see the return of Anthony Martial.

Anthony Martial picked up a muscle injury during the Champions League game vs PSG and has been out ever since.

Like Lingard, the Frenchman too was in line to make a comeback against Liverpool but that was not to be.

Now though reports are claiming that Anthony Martial should be fit to play vs Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

The return of the forward will be a huge boost for Solskjaer since he will once again have a fit attacking trio in the form of Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial – all of whom should start vs Palace.
