Anthony Martial is back amongst the goals and on Sunday, he scored an absolutely magical goal as Man United beat Watford 3-0 in the Premier League.

The Frenchman was surrounded by a number of Watford players but he cooly chose to dink the ball over the Hornets keeper into the back of the net. And many believe that this superb goal has once again shifted the limelight away from his poor attitude and lack of talent while playing as a centre-forward.

But pundit Steve Nicol has clearly warned the Man United to be wary of Anthony Martial since he might be the very reason why the Norwegian is shown the door at the club.

“This is the kind of guy that gets you the sack because he will do something like he did in this game, and by the way what a goal,” Nicol said on ESPN FC, as quoted by Daily Star.

“You talk about awareness, how cool. There are only a certain amount of people who have the ability that are capable of doing it.

“But you know what, this guy from doing that will disappear and not doing anything.

“And as a coach you will be sitting on the side of the field going ‘Do you know what? I’m going to take this guy off’. And then he’ll do that.

“You’re constantly as a coach thinking what you’re going to get from this guy. That’s not a good place to be.

“As talented a guy as Martial is, that’s not good for Solskjaer.”

Verdict on Anthony Martial:

Anthony Martial has been amongst the goals this season at Manchester United but the Frenchman has massively failed to perform the other duties that a typical centre-forward might do.

From holding up play to having that killer instinct, Martial has had none of that and this is one of the major reasons why Man United have scored very few goals this season.

Up until now, Marcus Rashford had taken most of the goal-scoring burden so Anthony Martial was being let off easily. But now with the England international likely to be out for the remainder of the season, the Frenchman will surely have to step up to the task.
