Jadon Sancho wanted by Man United
Jadon Sancho is one of the players who is expected to make a move back to the Premier League this summer

Man United might be about to get a massive discount in the signing of Borussia Dortmund’s young sensation Jadon Sancho.

That’s according to BVB executive Carsten Cramer who has admitted that transfer prices could take a nosedive during the summer meaning Manchester United will be able to get their hands on Sancho at a much cheaper rate.

‘Usually, at this time of year the squad for next season is already done,’ he told the Leaders in Sport’s online forum, via Metro.

‘Maybe you sell some players but the plans are done. Everyone has to be as flexible as possible. I’m very sure the business on loans will become of higher relevance than periods before, and for sure it will take a longer time to plan your squad.

‘I’m very, very sure that not on July 1 or even August 1 your team is done. Flexibility is very important, patience will be important.

‘I’m very sure the expectations of high fees will go down as well.’

Will Man United get a discount for Jadon Sancho?

Right now, Borussia Dortmund value Jadon Sancho at around £120 million which is a massive number under any circumstances.

And now that all of Europe is under lockdown, there’s no way the Premier League club will be eager to spend so much on a single player which was even hinted at by their Norwegian boss.

Solskjaer had said, as quoted by MEN: “I think today’s world is different to what it was two months ago. We’ve got to adjust to that and there are clubs out there struggling more than us financially. But it’s still a new world and the transfer market this summer will be completely different to what anyone thought it was going to be.”

But now this statement from Dortmund’s executive is like a breath of fresh air for the Man United think tank who apart from Jadon Sancho are also looking to add players like Jack Grealish and Harry Kane to their catalogue.

Now the only thing that remains to be seen is by how much are the Bundesliga side willing to lower their demands for one of the most talented youngsters in world football.
