Arsenal dropped points away from home once again this time losing 1-0 to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the Premier League.

The Gunners started the match on the backfoot and after conceding a string of corners, they eventually went behind in the 30th minute thanks to a goal from Lys Mousset.

While the Gunners did manage to pump up the gears in the second half but they did very little to make Dean Henderson sweat and in the end, the Blades held on for three points.

After the match, Unai Emery was asked about the Gunners’ continued poor form away from home and the manager went on to admit that his team are facing a bit of trouble on the road.

But he added that the only way to fix it is by scoring goals.

The Arsenal manager said: “Yes, but really, tonight the match in a lot of times in 90 minutes, I think we controlled it.

“We had more possession, more chances, more shots and for example, Pepe is improving and I think Pepe’s way with us is little-by-little getting better.

“The next step is to score. Tonight, for example, the best chance is one he is usually going to score but tonight he didn’t take that with efficiency. He also had two shots that were very important.

“I think he is improving and taking confidence with us. But it is one process. Another player, Bukayo, is another step ahead he did tonight.

“Maybe we can speak and critical of ourselves as we conceded from a corner, and it can happen that they can score from a corner, but the most important is to be consistent and tonight we lost a good opportunity for three points.

“My point of view is that we didn’t deserve to lose, but we lost and that is the reality. We need to keep [positive] for the next game against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

“Really now the table is very close, there are a lot of teams in that position we are in now and we know we lost a good opportunity to be in third position in the table. But we are going to work for our opportunity on Sunday.”

The loss means Arsenal have moved out of the top-four in the Premier League and are currently fifth with 15 points.

On the other hand, the Blades have moved into the top ten after picking up all three points vs Arsenal on Sunday.
