Arsenal will take on Everton in the Premier League this Sunday and Unai Emery will be hoping to pick up his fifth straight win as the Gunners boss.

Arsenal are currently seventh on the Premier League table with three wins and the season is now looking for better for the London side than it was at the start of the season.

The Arsenal injury list vs Everton is massive but most of them have been out for a long time so replacing them should not be a major concern for the manager.

But going into the match Unai Emery will be concerned about his midfield area.

Here’s why:

Arsenal’s injury list vs Everton:

Versatile midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles is ruled out of the Everton game with a broken leg and is expected to return back to action sometime next month.

Aaron Ramsey is another midfielder who might miss the game on Sunday due to fatigue but the senior pro will go through a late fitness test in order to determine his availability.

Lucas Torreira also picked up a knee injury during Arsenal’s Europa League victory over Vorskla and like Ramsey he took will be subject to a late fitness test.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is another player who might not make it to the playing eleven after picking up a knock in midweek but Unai Emery should not be too concerned over the player’s absence since Mesut Ozil was scheduled to start in his place anyways.

While this scenario may look in favour of Arsenal but if both Ramsey and Torreira fail the fitness test then Unai Emery will surely have a gaping hole to fill in midfield.

Apart from these players, all the other injuries are long-term and none of them will make an appearance this month.

Arsenal’s injury list vs Everton:
