Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has agreed to join PSG during the summer transfer window as a free agent.

This is the news that has been doing the rounds for a couple of weeks now.

The Red Devils are still to tie Ander Herrera down to a new deal and with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, the midfielder has claimed that he is listening to offers from other clubs.

As per rumours, Ander Herrera wants 200,000 pounds per week in the form of wages but Man United are not willing to pay him anything more than 170,000 pounds per week.

In such a scenario, many believed that the Spaniard has already agreed to join the Ligue 1 side thus crushing the hopes of many interested clubs.

Now though, fresh reports are claiming that Herrera’s move to PSG is not yet finalised prompting many clubs to reignite their interest in the midfielder.

And amongst these clubs are Arsenal.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been a long-standing admirer of Ander Herrera and right now it looks like the Spanish manager will try and convince the midfielder to join the Gunners during the summer.

While Man United will have no say in it since Ander Herrera will become a free agent unless he signs a new deal but he is one player who is endeared by the Old Trafford faithful.

So personally we do not feel, the midfielder will try and rub the fans in the wrong way by joining a direct Premier League rival.

Having said all this, it is still unclear whether Ander Herrera will actually leave since multiple reports claim that Man United will ultimately be able to convince the midfielder to put pen on paper to a new deal.
