Arsenal beat Napoli 2-0 in the Europa League on Thursday and with that, the Gunners have gotten a huge advantage in the two-legged tie.

And while most of the Arsenal fans over the world are busy rejoicing their team’s emphatic win, the club have a totally different problem to deal with.

Right now, the London club are investigating racist abuse directed at Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly during Thursday night’s Europa League clash.

Yes, once again another English club has been dragged in this racist controversy but the Gunners have made sure that swift action is being taken.

“We utterly condemn use of this type of racist language and have launched an investigation to identify the culprit,” the club said in a statement released to Press Association Sport(as reported).

“We operate a zero tolerance approach and anyone behaving like this is not welcome at Arsenal and will be banned from matches.

“We have an extremely diverse community of fans who are all part of the Arsenal family and such incidents are rare at Emirates Stadium.

“We encourage supporters to report any incidents as they happen to stewards or via our matchday alert service.”

Arsenal have ensured that they cause no delay in taking action and the club have already launched an investigation in order to identify the individual and if the charge is proved then the perpetrators will be slapped with life bans.

Most of the clubs whose fans have been accused of using racial slurs have ensured the guilty personnel are given bans from stadiums in the hope that such a punishment will stop the ill behaviour.

Unfortunately, though, such incidents have just escalated throughout the current season and a number of top players have been victims of racist abuses all across Europe.

Will this ever stop?
