Arsenal beat West Ham United thereby ending their nine-game winless streak but next up they on Man City in the Premier League meaning they could once again be staring at a defeat.

Right now, the Gunners are 9th on the league table with 22 points but a win against City could once again take then to the top half of the table but beating the defending champions will not be an easy task.

Arsenal have been going through a dismal period during the past couple of months and going into this match, the North London club is dealing with a series of injury concerns which could see some really important players miss out this Sunday.

Arsenal team news vs Man City:

David Luiz was dropped from the first XI last weekend as Sokratis and Callum Chambers played in central defence but since Arsenal take on Man City this time around, the Brazilian is expected to move up the pecking order.

Both the full-backs, Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney picked up injuries against West Ham United and as per the latest reports, both of them will miss the Man City game.

Tierney has suffered a dislocated shoulder meaning he will play no part this weekend but Bellerin is trying hard to make himself fit in time.

Sead Kolasinac is the obvious replacement for the young Scott vs the Citizens but if Bellerin is not available then it will be Maitland-Niles who will play at right-back.

Granit Xhaka picked up a head injury against the Hammers and the club have confirmed concussion meaning the Swiss international is ruled out of the Man City game. And with Dani Ceballos also out with an injury, it will be Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira who will pair up in central midfield for Arsenal.

Nicolas Pepe was one of the standout players for Arsenal last weekend but he also suffered a bruised knee which kept him out of action against Standard Liege in midweek.

Mesut Ozil has seen a fair amount of game time ever since Unai Emery was sacked by the club and the German is in contention to start against Manchester City too.

The summer signing though is expected to be fit in time to play down the right flank this weekend as Aubameyang operates on the other side.
