Arsenal are planning to bring Denis Suarez from Barcelona but now it seems the deals could be in murky waters.

Various sources have claimed that the midfielder is close to signing for the Gunners and the transfer could be wrapped up next week.

But now Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has made it clear that Denis Suarez is not close to an exit.

“Denis can play for us in any match and he is always available,” he told Diario Sport(as reported by the Express).

“The reality is he was with our squad when we went to Getafe on Sunday and he is always competing to be in the squad, so yes he does have a future.

“This is a period of the season when fixtures come thick and fast and we will need to make rotations, I am aware of this and so are the players.

“Every game now we believe there will be a few changes, between league fixtures and those in the Copa all players available have a chance.”

Even though Valverde is claiming that Denis Suarez has a future at Camp Nou but the player is way down the pecking order right now.

This season, the midfielder has made only six appearances for the Catalans out of which two have come in the La Liga.

Reports have claimed that Barcelona want to offload Denis Suarez permanently but Arsenal are only ready to take him on a six-month loan spell.

Maybe this is why the Barcelona manager has gone on to claim that Denis Suarez will remain at Camp Nou until the end of the season.
