Liverpool take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League Round of 16 this midweek at the Allianz Arena.
And the Reds will be hoping to follow the likes of Man United and Tottenham Hotspur into the quarter-finals.
The first leg held at Anfield a couple of weeks ago ended 0-0 and most pundits believe the advantage lies with Bayern Munich given that they will play in their home ground.
While Jurgen Klopp is trying to put up a brave face going into this high profile clash but right now reports are suggesting that the manager is having a serious headache with the injury of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Alexander-Arnold was taken off during Liverpool’s win over Burnley during the weekend with a muscle problem and now rumours have it that the right-back is facing a race against time to make himself fit.
Liverpool suggest that Alexander-Arnold will be closely monitored during the next couple of days and the medical staff are confident that the full-back should be available for selection when the Reds travel to Germany.
But now some rumours coming out of England are suggesting that the youngster might take a few more days to become fully fit and the last thing Jurgen Klopp wants is to name an unfit player against Bayern.
If Alexander-Arnold cannot make himself fit then midfielder James Milner will slot back into the right-back role at the Allianz Arena.
While James Milner has done a very good job as a full-back but Alexander-Arnold is more apt at delivering deadly crosses.
And if Milner was to be pushed back into defence then Jurgen Klopp would miss one more option in the midfield area.
