The Premier League played its eighth round of matches before the international break during which all the European nations will indulge in friendlies as well as the UEFA Nations League.

But during this previous weekend, something really weird happened which no one is really talking about.

The incident happened during the Brighton vs West Ham United match at the Falmer Stadium which the Hammers lost 1-0.

Brighton’s Glenn Murray scored the only goal of the game during the 25th minute which meant the Hammers will go into the international break 15th on the league table.

West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini will surely not be happy with his team’s performance but one other person who will be having nightmares after the game is the referee – Kevin Friend.

Friend who was in charge of the game was struck in an awkward situation when a rubber penis was thrown onto the pitch during the Brighton vs West Ham game.

Yes, a rubber penis.

The sex toy came flying in from the stands and landed straight on the pitch and all the players were clearly left bewildered.

While most of the people on the pitch were looking a bit confused but Kevin Friend knew exactly what to do.

The referee smartly took the rubber penis in his hand and put it out of the pitch.

While the fans have been applauding the calmness of the referee some people have also lauded the bravery of the fan who actually managed to bring in the rubber penis into the stadium and had the guts to know it onto the pitch.
