Rangers FC full-back Lee Wallace has had a nightmare of a season but it looks like he is heading for greener pastures.

Lee Wallace has remained on the sidelines ever since the club suspended his last April for an alleged row with interim manager Graeme Murty.

And following this, there were several reports that the left-back would be on his way out of the club during the summer itself.

But Steven Gerrard chose not to sell him off thinking the experienced pro would be of some use during the current season.

This though has not been the case since the manager has obviously preferred Andy Halliday in the left-back role instead of Lee Wallace and the 31-year-old has so far made just two appearances in the Premiership.

Steven Gerrard has realized that he has virtually no use of Lee Wallace and hence he is willing to offload him this month.

And as per reports, Bristol City are willing to sign the left-back.

Lee Wallace certainly has the goods to play regular first-team football and the fact that he has entered the final few months of his contract makes him a really lucrative buy for Bristol City.

Rangers are lining up to bring in a handful of new players this month and for that, they are in requirement of cash.

So in such a scenario, any amount of money that they can get from selling Lee Wallace will be a bonus for the Teddy Bears.
