Arsenal have made a really poor start to their new campaign, losing 0-2 to Brentford last weekend and now they take on the mighty Chelsea.
Arsenal may be a more legendary club than their London rivals but as things stand, this game is a total mismatch, according to Michael Owen.
While Chelsea come into this side as the Champions League winners, Arsenal, on the other hand, have not been able to secure European football this season. Owen has refused to rule out a setback but the pundit believes there’s going to be only one winner on Sunday.
He wrote for BetVictor: “I was very disappointed with what I saw from Arsenal on Friday. I know they were missing a few of their first team but Brentford were deserved winners.
“They’ve spent money this summer, but have they improved much from where they were last season? I don’t think so. I’d be surprised if they finished any higher than sixth this season.
“It’s a totally different story at Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea are looking formidable. They remain such a difficult side to score against and I think Lukaku will be a brilliant signing for them.

“They finished fourth with Jorginho as their top scorer last season with seven, so imagine what they could do with a prolific striker.
“Anything can happen in derbies, but this London Derby looks like a mismatch. I think Chelsea will comfortably win this 2-0 and pile the pressure on Arsenal.”
Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 3-0 last weekend and unless the Blues mess up really badly, we do not see them losing to Arsenal either.

The Gunners are a total mess right now as they have been spending money on all the wrong signings this summer.
The £50 million Ben White looked really shaky against the Bees and if Romelu Lukaku is starting for Chelsea then the Gunners centre-back could have another nightmare.
And if the defensive woes were not enough then Arsenal are going to miss Alexandre Lacazette and Willian due to COVID while Aubameyang is also a major doubt.
So, all in all, Mikel Arteta’s side should be bracing themselves for yet another gloomy weekend.
