Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos could be heading to Serie A side Juventus during the summer transfer window – as per reports.

Despite a rocky start to life in the Premier League, Dani Ceballos seems to have won back his current manager’s faith but he is still unclear as to what the future holds for him during the upcoming summer transfer window.

He has recently admitted: ‘I finish my contract on June 30. I would have to play for Arsenal, I don’t know how [it would work].

‘The most important thing will be to be important for my new team. I came to Arsenal to be important and in less than a month it has disappeared [because of coronavirus]. The relationship of the future would be irresponsible for me to speak about.’

While Mikel Arteta could offer the player a permanent deal at the end of the season as per some experts but it seems Juventus are trying to lure him out to Italy by offering a lucrative salary package.

If Arsenal do not offer Ceballos a new deal then he will be heading back to Real Madrid but clearly Zinedine Zidane does not want him so either he will be sent out on loan once again or will be sold off permanently.

Should Arsenal hold onto Dani Ceballos?

As per some reports, Real Madrid currently value the 23-year-old at around €35 million which is something Arsenal will surely be hesitant to pay in the summer.

As things stand, the Gunners will not be playing in the Champions League next season meaning Arteta will have a very limited budget to work with. And in such a scenario he wouldn’t want to waste so much money on an area which is not too important.

Yes, Arsenal can use the services of Dani Ceballos next season but in order for him to remain at the Emirates, Real Madrid will have to lower their asking price significantly.

So there’s a chance Dani Ceballos could head off to Juventus at the end of the season not only because Arsenal right now cannot afford him but also because Juventus are offering him a salary package of around £4 million.
