Joe Hart to Celtic FC

Both Rangers and Celtic have signed goalkeepers during the summer transfer window but oddly enough they are being linked to yet another shot-stopper.

Ranger have brought back Allan McGregor to Ibrox while the Hoops have signed Scott Bain but it seems that Man City outcast Joe Hart might move to Glasgow.

Hart has endured a tough couple of seasons at the Etihad ever since Pep Guardiola was appointed as the new manager and now the 31-year-old wants to exit the club permanently.

After Guardiola moved to Man City, Joe Hart was loaned out to Torino and West Ham United in two different seasons but the shot-stopper failed to do anything special.

During the 2017-18 season, Hart was with the Hammers where he managed to play just 23 games in all competitions which in turn cost his a place in England’s 23-man squad for the World Cup.

Now the bookies are of the view that Hart will move out of Etihad and the next best destination for him is either Celtic or Rangers.

But to be very realistic we do not see a move to Glasgow happening during the summer as both the Old Firm clubs have plenty of goalkeeping options and we don’t see a reason as to why they will want to clog up their budget by bringing in Joe Hart.

A move to the MLS might be a more realistic option for the 31-year-old but having said that, the keeper still have a number of years left in him and if shouldn’t come as a big surprise if Joe Hart moves to another Premier League club.
