Juventus travel to the Amsterdam Arena in order to take on Ajax in the Champions League and right now everyone is waiting to see whether Cristiano Ronaldo makes it to the squad or not.

Cristiano Ronaldo picked up an injury while on international duty when he went off injured half an hour into Portugal’s 1-1 Euro 2020 qualifying draw with Serbia on March 25 and the superstar has been recovering ever since.

Now though with the Champions League clash vs Ajax just around the corner, almost ever Bianconeri fan is sweating over the fitness of the summer acquisition.

Fresh reports are claiming that Cristiano Ronaldo will be included in the matchday squad but will he be fit enough to start?

Speaking after Juve’s 2-1 win over AC Milan, Allegri claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo will be back for the Champions League clash.

‘He [Ronaldo] always feels ready, but I told him to rest [against Milan],’ the Italian said.

‘We are confident of having him at Ajax on Wednesday.’

And now Calciomercato have claimed that the Portuguese has done the full training session with the rest of the squad on Monday and will fly out for Amsterdam with his teammates on Tuesday.

But the same report though, claims that Cristiano Ronaldo will start the match on the bench and Max Allegri will only use him if the situation turns against the Old Lady.
