Chelsea have signed Christian Pulisic earlier this week and the American has been sent back to his parent club – Borussia Dortmund on loan until the end of the season.

After the signing, the Blues fans had been jumping with joy since their club have made the right move after a series of failed transfer windows in the recent past.

But now a comment from Maurizio Sarri shows that the Chelsea management are once again doing what they feel like when it comes to the signing of players.

Last season we had heard reports that Antonio Conte and the club had no communication whatsoever before signing a new player.

And now Sarri has revealed that he had no idea that Chelsea were planning to sign Christian Pulisic until the transfer was announced.

“I didn’t know anything about [signing] Pulisic yesterday,”  Sarri told the BBC(as reported by Goal).

“They asked my opinion about him one month ago. My opinion was positive and today I knew that the deal is done but I didn’t know anything.”

“I am not in charge of the market so I have to tend to my matches and play every three days. I can only say my opinion to the club,”

While some fans are furious with the board for repeating their mistakes but others are bringing up an old statement from Sarri in which the Italian had claimed that he is not too interested in the transfer market activity.

“I think that I am one of the few managers who is bored by the transfer market. I don’t want to talk about the transfer market and I’m not that interested in it.” Sarri had said previously.

Sarri’s only big signing during the summer was that of Jorginho from his former club Napoli and the Italian was hoping to bring in some much-needed reinforcement this month in order to secure that top four spot by the end of the season.

But now it seems that the Chelsea board and Maurizio Sarri as heading in to completely opposite directions.
