After the 6-0 loss at the hands of Manchester City, many people believe that Maurizio Sarri’s time at Stamford Bridge could be numbered.

The Italian has a very unique style of management and this has not gone down to well with a number of Chelsea players.

Maurizio Sarri has come out to openly claim that he does not wish to deploy a plan B and that his players will first have to perfect his Plan A.

And on top of that, he has done crazy things like lock up his players inside the dressing room in order to demand answers for their poor performance.

If the former Napoli boss cannot mend his ways soon enough then he will be shown the exit doors at the club and Jamie Redknapp believes that the Blues just might take a cue out of Man United’s book.

‘The Chelsea hierarchy hired Sarri because of his style of play but they must be growing increasingly frustrated by his lack of flexibility,’ Jamie Redknapp said.

‘They will quickly have to decide whether they back Sarri and give him time to implement his philosophy or to say that enough is enough.

‘If they do make a change, though, who do they bring in? Do Chelsea look at Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and give the job to Gianfranco Zola until the end of the season?

‘I still believe that Sarri deserves another chance but if this defeat is the final straw, he can have no complaints.’

Appointing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has worked wonders for Man United and if Maurizio Sarri were to depart before the end of the season, then Gianfranco Zola might very well be given charge of the squad.
