Eden Hazard playing for Chelsea

Eden Hazard is a guaranteed starter for Chelsea when the Blues travel across London to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

The Belgium international played for his national side twice during the international break first against Iceland and then against Switzerland.

And many pundits feel that the Chelsea superstar might just be out of steam due to playing so much football since the new season kicked off.

Still, Maurizio Sarri will start with Eden Hazard on the left flank against Spurs but there is one thing that the fans will not be able to see.

The Chelsea star recently revealed to the club’s official website that he is not going to be performing his iconic knee-slide celebration any more.

Eden Hazard told Chelsea FC: “Look, look, the celebration – the sliding knee. I need to stop this.

“My knees – they are on fire! No more of this celebration.”

While saying this, the forward showed off his knee to the camera and one could see the bruises all those slidings had caused.

According to Squawka, Eden Hazard has performed 22 knee-slide celebrations after his goals but unfortunately, we won’t be able to see that trademark celebration any more.
