Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has been at the centre of a debate ever since the Blues lost their first game of the season to Spurs a fortnight back.

Ever since Maurizio Sarri took charge of Chelsea in the summer, the boss has played N’Golo Kante in a new role while his former position has been handed over to Jorgiho.

Despite not performing at his best ever since that positional shift, Sarri has maintained that N’Golo Kante is not getting his previous role back and will now have to excel in his new job.

While many former players and pundits have come out to criticize the Chelsea boss saying the Italian is making Kante look like an average player.

But Maurizio Sarri seems to know exactly what he is doing.

And now after so many debates and discussion, the little Frenchman has finally opened up and while talking to Chelsea’s official website, the midfielder has said that he has no problems with his new found role.

‘I like this position. The manager has given me the confidence to play this position since the beginning of the season. I am trying to do my best and I will get better at it, and I hope to have success in it this year,’ Kante told the Blues website.

N’Golo Kante recently signed a new deal at the club but a number of recent reports have suggested that the player is not very happy at Stamford Bridge and might want to leave the club at the end of the season.

Now though, the World Cup winner has put an end to all those speculations saying he wants to succeed under his new boss Maurizio Sarri.

Chelsea will take on Wolves at Molineux on Wednesday and once again N’Golo Kante should be deployed on the right-hand side of midfield while summer signing Jorginho will play centrally.
