Alvaro Morata

Chelsea travel across London to take on Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend.

And this game might just help the Blues to break up from the other teams who are competing for that top-four spot.

A win for Sarri’s men would also mean that they will go above Spurs on the table for at least 24 hours since the Lilywhites do not play until Sunday.

But going into this all-important game, the Chelsea boss once again has a striker crisis.

Alvaro Morata is still out with a hamstring injury and some rumours claim the Spaniard will not be 100 per cent fit to face Arsenal.

The Blues though have not given up hope and are taking it one day at a time.

Morata is expected to go through a late fitness test in order to determine his availability for the Arsenal game.

Olivier Giroud is fit but we don’t think Sarri will start with him. At best the Frenchman could come on as a second-half substitute.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has a back problem and the midfielder is expected to be out for a couple of weeks.

This means that Maurizio Sarri will once again deploy Eden Hazard in the false nine role – a tactic that he has used repeatedly during the past couple of games.

While some fans are happy that their manager is snubbing the likes of Morata and Giroud but in reality playing Hazard in that role really limits his capabilities.

But the Arsenal game could be a bit different given the Gunners’ defence is not top class and the likes of Willian and Hazard and easily find a way through.
