Chelsea have managed to pick up just two wins in their last six Premier League matches and next up they take on Arsenal in the London Derby.

The Blues suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Southampton on Boxing Day and Frank Lampard will be itching to get back to winning ways this weekend when his side take on the Gunners.

Chelsea have been really inconsistent this season under their new boss and if they fail to pick up a win at the Emirates then there’s every chance that they might fall out of the top-four by the end of the weekend.

The manager opted to use a three-man defence vs the Saints but we think he will change his tactics on Sunday opting for a more traditional 4-3-3 formation.

Chelsea team news vs Arsenal:

Reece James has really impressed a lot of people this season but the full-back is currently out with an ankle injury and as per the latest reports, the youngster might not be fit in time to face the Gunners.

Emerson played in midweek vs the Saints which means Marcos Alonso could come into the side on Sunday since Lampard will be looking to rest some of his players.

Mateo Kovacic missed Thursday’s game with a suspension but the player is sure to return to the starting XI and we feel it will be Jorginho who will make way.

Mason Mount should return to the starting line-up and the youngster is likely to play in midfield alongside Kovacic and N’Golo Kante.

Callum Hudson Odoi started on Boxing Day but after the game, Lampard hinted at the fact that the winger could start against Arsenal as well.

This means that Willian could be rested since American international Christian Pulisic has also been pushing for a return.

Michy Batshuayi could replace Tammy Abraham up front but we don’t think the manager will take such a big risk in such a high-profile game.
