Goalkeeper:
Belgian No 1 Thibaut Courtois will be the goalkeeper of choice for Antonio Conte when they travel to Selhurst Park
Thibaut Courtois
Defence:
Antonio Conte will go with his usual formation wherein he will have three central defenders and two wing-backs. As per our estimation, the Italian will look to rest Gary Cahill with the Roma match coming up next week. This means that his central defensive trio will be consisting of Rudiger, David Luiz and Ceaser Azpilicueta. Victor Moses will be the right wing back while Marcos Alonso will be the left wing back.
Rudiger – Luiz – Azpilicueta
Midfield:
The major absentee in midfield will most definitely be N’Golo Kante which means that Tiemoue Bakayoko will have to be paired alongside Cesc Fabregas in central midfield. Brazilian Willian and Spaniard Pedro Rodriguez will be the role of attacking midfielders.
Fabregas – Bakayoko – Willian – Pedro
Attack:
Summer signing Alvaro Morata will also be missing from action due to a grade two ligament damage meaning that Conte only has Michy Batsuayi as his only other striker. But we feel that the manager will opt to play Eden Hazard as his front man rather than Batsuayi.
