Arsenal brought in Dani Ceballos on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid and right now the biggest debate amongst the supporters is that should he stay or leave in the summer?

Dani Ceballos had a really poor first half in England but since the resumption, the midfielder has really upped his game and is now one of the first names on Mikel Arteta’s teamsheet.

Many pundits think that Arsenal will now want to sign him permanently in the summer but while talking about his future, Ceballos has revealed that his return to the Premier League could depend on his parent club.

“Right now, I’m only thinking about the next games because if we win them, we have some chance of qualifying for the Europa League,” he told Sky Sports, as per Football London.

“After that, I have to be calm. I have to return to Real Madrid and they have to make a decision because I have a contract there for the next three years.

“Once I know their decision, I will sit down with my family and the people close to me and see what’s best for me next year.

“But the truth is I’m very happy at Arsenal. It’s a club in which I already have a year of experience, so it would be very easy to return. I wouldn’t have to adapt to a new league or new club with a different manager and players.

“I think it would be a good step for me. But like I said, my future depends on Real Madrid and right now I don’t know their decision.”

Dani Ceballos has clearly impressed during the past couple of weeks and any other parent club would have loved to use him in their own starting XI next season.

But Real Madrid just do not have the need to bring in one more midfielder amongst their ranks and Zidane should not have any issues is selling the player to Real Madrid.

A transfer fee around £30-35 million should be more than enough to keep Dani Ceballos at the Emirates permanently and if Arsenal can manage to sell Matteo Guendouzi in the summer then paying the required amount for the Real Madrid loanee will not be an issue.
