Dejan Lovren has been tipped to move out of Liverpool this summer as he has found it really hard to get enough minutes on the pitch.

During the 2018-19 campaign, Dejan Lovren played in just 13 Premier League games despite Van Dijk’s first choice partner – Joe Gomez being injured for most of the season.

And the scenario is not expected to change next season since there have been indications that Joe Gomez will get his starting role back meaning Dejan Lovren will fall further down the pecking order if he chooses to stick around.

While the player is open to move out this summer but several reports have claimed that Jurgen Klopp wants to hold onto him.

AC Milan have been heavily linked with a move for the defender but up until now, they have found it really hard to get their hands on the player primarily due to the Liverpool boss.

But now Sports Mole are claiming that the agent of Dejan Lovren was in Italy earlier this week to meet the Milan officials. But the reports cannot be sure if it was regarding the defender.

“According to Tutto Mercato, Bjorn Bezemer, who works for the agency that represents Lovren, met with Milan officials on Tuesday, although it is unclear whether the Liverpool defender was the subject of discussion,” the report suggested.

Initially, it was claimed that Liverpool were willing to accept around £25 million in return for the centre-back but they seemed to have changed their stance as soon as Jurgen Klopp refused to let Dejan Lovren leave.

It has also been claimed that Lovren is not too keep to join AC Milan since there will be no European football next season.

Milan had qualified for the Europa League but this summer they were banned for the competition due to financial irregularities.

Hence Dejan Lovren is not eager to join the San Siro outfit despite wanting to leave Liverpool.
