Manchester United slipped down from the fourth spot on the Premier League table after their weekend loss to Arsenal.

The Gunners came out 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Granit Xhaka and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

Even though it was an even contest, Man United missed a number of good goals scoring chances or should we say it was Bern Leno who was at the top of his game.

Unai Emery also chose to tinker around with his team selection and to almost everyone’s surprise, the manager chose to hand Mesut Ozil a start.

This came clearly as a shock to Solskjaer who immediately understood that his managerial counterpart had set un an ultra-attacking side.

Going into the game, Solskjaer who still had a couple of first-team players out injured but now Ian Wright has praised the Man United boss for taking care of Mesut Ozil during the match.

‘People will say it was fortunate and, yeah, to a certain extent I think we were,’ Wright said.

‘They [United] missed some very good chances but, saying that our goalkeeper was magnificent today and I don’t [usually] give him a lot of credit. But credit where it’s due.

‘He made some great saves against Spurs last week. The save he made – if it was David de Gea, everybody would have went crazy.

‘He made two great saves again today. Even though Lukaku missed some chances, our goalkeeper was fantastic.

‘Got to give the manager credit for putting out a very positive and offensive team,’

‘It’s great to see Auba, Laca, Ramsey and Ozil playing even though after a while, once Ole Gunnar Solskjaer realised that we were outnumbering them and Ozil was getting on the ball too much, they nullified that.

‘Unfortunately, Ozil disappeared out of the game.’
